Two artists. Two stages. One winner. That’s Red Bull SoundClash.
We teamed up with Red Bull to craft a fiery promo for the event. Just 55 seconds to catch the viewer’s eye and make it count. Not a lot of time, so every frame had to land. And if you ask us? It hit all the right notes.

Our approach
whip, crash, split!
We opted for a visual approach inspired by the gaming and comic world. We used crash zooms, split screens and whip pans. All to enhance that combative atmosphere and to pull the viewer into the story.
Afterwards, we added animations, inspired by game consoles and laser beams. Crank up the tempo, blend it all together and boom: the perfect match of style and story.
Our solution
Different ratios? No problem!
The promo video would be used on social media as well as on platforms where the 9:16 ratio isn't the norm. The difference in ratios got us thinking. Our solution: film in 4:3 and 9:16. This way, the videos fit nicely with both vertical an horizontal screens.
